Get Moving Outdoor
Outdoor play is great for many reasons, including physical wellbeing and developing control and strength for manipulating objects and equipment and large movement skills. It also gives our children the opportunity to learn about nature and the world around them.
Here are some outdoor activities for KG. 3:
KG.3/1 - Like hopscotch, students used their early agility skills to carry a ball as they hopped in a series of hoops.
KG.3/2 - Students used their developing arm and upper body strength to propel themselves through a tunnel while carrying a ball.
KG.3/3 - Students played an uncompetitive version of an egg and spoon race. It is a fun way to practice balance, coordination, focus, and control.
KG.3/4 - The Stacked Cup Battle game is a fun way for students to develop problem-solving, color recognition, and fine motor skills.
KG.3/5 - Students played an uncompetitive version of a potato sack race. It is a fun physical activity that promotes coordination, balance, and gross motor skills.
Enjoy your day!
